An Invitation to Know the Lord
Come near to Him.
God created you, loves you, and desires that you know Him. Every one of us has sinned and fallen short of His glory, but God did not leave us separated from Him. In His love, He sent His Son, Yeshua—Jesus Christ—to bear our sin upon the cross. He died, was buried, and rose again. Through Him, forgiveness and eternal life are offered freely to all who believe.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
— John 3:16, KJV
Why do we need salvation?
Scripture tells us, “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). Sin separates us from God, and we cannot restore that relationship by our own goodness or effort. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
The good news
Yeshua took our sin upon Himself and paid the price we could never pay. He rose from the grave in victory. Salvation is the gift of God’s grace, received through faith—not something we earn.
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9, KJV
Respond to His invitation
If the Lord is drawing your heart, turn to Him. Acknowledge your sin, place your faith in Yeshua’s death and resurrection, and receive Him as Lord. He welcomes all who come to Him.
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
— Romans 10:9, KJV
If these words express the faith of your heart, you may pray:
Father, I come to You acknowledging that I have sinned and need Your forgiveness. I believe that Yeshua, Jesus Christ, died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and place my faith in Him. Yeshua, be Lord of my life. Wash me, make me new, and teach me to follow You. Thank You for receiving me and giving me eternal life. In Yeshua’s name, Amen.
The words of a prayer are not a formula. Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Yeshua. If you have placed your faith in Him today, begin speaking with Him in prayer, read His Word, and seek fellowship with a faithful, Bible-believing church.
We would be honored to pray with you.
Tell us that you have chosen to follow Yeshua, ask a question, or share a prayer request.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” — Romans 10:13, KJV
